Infused Oreo Peanut Butter Bliss Bites!

Welcome back Canna Campers! There’s nothing like having a sweet tooth while you are miles away from civilization but no fear! We came up with an easy recipe you can make before you set out for your next adventure and when the craving strikes you will have some delicious goodies waiting for you in the cooler!

In this week's Base Camp blog we are making “Oreo Peanut Butter Bliss Bites”, with only a few ingredients and a couple of hours in the fridge you will have an infused munchie everyone at camp will want to try!

Infused Oreo Peanut Butter Bliss Bites:

1 cup cannabis-infused butter (see here for our Cannabutter recipe)

1 cup peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cups powdered sugar

1 cup crumbled Oreos (about 10-12 cookies)

Instructions:

Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper or grease it with butter.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the cannabis-infused butter and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the powdered sugar, about 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition until the mixture is smooth and thick.

Fold in the crumbled Oreos, reserving some for topping if desired.

Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly with a spatula.

Sprinkle the remaining crumbled Oreos on top of the fudge.

Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until set.

Once set, lift the fudge from the baking dish using the parchment paper and cut it into squares.

Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

And that’s all! Now you have some delicious snacks for when the munchies hit while hanging out at camp and as always:

Make sure to clearly label the container, Keep away from children, and ensure everyone who wants to try one knows they are infused! (It’s not fun to be medicated when you don’t want to be.) And remember these are homemade so potency will vary so take your time!
