Spooky Spiderweb Canna-Infused Chocolate Brownies

In this week's Base Camp blog, we will be teaching you how to make a frightfully good treat that is sure to be a hit at Halloween or any time of the year!


Not a seasoned baker? No fear these Brownies are easy to make and delicious, with only 10 ingredients total you will be munchin on some chocolatey goodness in no time!




Spooky Spiderweb Canna-Infused Chocolate Brownies


Ingredients:


For the brownies:


- 1/2 cup cannabis-infused butter (cannabutter)

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/4 tsp salt

- 1/4 tsp baking powder


For the spiderweb decoration:


- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

- 1/2 tsp vegetable oil


Instructions:


For the brownies:


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the cannabis-infused butter in the microwave or on the stovetop. Allow it to cool slightly.

  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  1. Stir in the melted cannabis-infused butter.

  1. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until the batter is smooth.

  1. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

  1. Bake for about 20-25 minutes check with a toothpick inserted into the center, if it comes out with a few moist crumbs you are good to pull them out.

  1. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.

For the spiderweb decoration:

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with the vegetable oil until smooth.

  1. Carefully transfer the melted white chocolate to a small, resealable plastic bag or pastry bag.

  1. Cut a tiny corner off the plastic bag to create a small opening for piping.

  1. Pipe a series of concentric circles on the top of the cooled brownies.

  1. Use a toothpick to gently drag lines from the center of the brownies to the outer edge, creating a spiderweb design.

  1. Let the white chocolate set, which should only take a few minutes.

  1. Once set, cut the brownies into squares and serve.
